How to Prevent Corrosion on a 4-Way Trailer Connector
Question:
I am looking for some type of a sealing cover of some type for my 4 pin flat connector on my trailers to protect them from the weather and corrosion. Any suggestions?

Expert Reply:
For a cover designed to fit over standard 4-way connectors we have the # C58200. Another very helpful idea will be to put dielectic grease on the pins of your 4-way. This will actually be your best way to fight the corrosion. For that you would want the part # 11755. Basically you will need to apply a liberal amount of it all over the pins of the connectors before you put the cover on the 4-way and you will not have to worry about corrosion.
