Installing a Brake Controller on a 2007 GMC Savana Van
Question:
Is there a two plug adapter for a 2007 Savana 3500 that works with this brake controller or do I need to manually wire it with the included harness?

A brake controller will have to be hardwired into your 2007 GMC Savana. If your van came with a factory installed 7-Way trailer connector, then the brake output wire should already be ran back to the 7-Way. It terminates under the dash near the emergency brake pedal. It should be a blue wire.
The remaining wires will have to be hardwired in. White grounds to the negative battery terminal. Black goes to the positive battery terminal via a 30-amp circuit breaker. And red goes to the cold side of the brake switch. For the white and black wires, I recommend wiring kit # 5506 which includes wire and circuit breakers.
For the red wire look at the wires on the brake switch (above the brake pedal) and find the white wire. That should be the wire you need. To make sure test it with a circuit tester such as # PTW2993 or a meter if you have one. You need the brake switch wire that only has power when the brake pedal is pressed and not when the head lights or turn signals are on.
I have included links to a video and help article that will help. Not all of the information will pertain to the installation so follow the relevant parts.
If the van did not come with a factory trailer connector, then you would start by adding a 4-Way, # 118392, and then using # ETBC7 to complete the installation. The links I provided will also help with this type of installation.
