Class I Trailer Hitch Availability for 2017 Volkswagen Jetta
Question:
I see there are setups for a 2015 Jetta. Ive got a 2017. Do you know if it will fit? Your search engine doesnt have the 17 Jetta. I cant imagine VW changed their undercarriage drastically. Anyway, wataya think?

For a hitch for the 2017 Volkswagen Jetta I checked directly with Draw-Tite and Curt, our two primary hitch suppliers, to see if they have recently confirmed hitch applications for your Jetta.
Draw-Tite has confirmed that their 1-1/4-inch Class I hitch # 24926 is a confirmed fit on the gas-engine 4-door Jetta sedan so long as it is not the TDI or Hybrid version. The hitch comes with all required mounting hardware; the written instructions and an install video are linked for you.
This hitch allows you to use compatible 1-1/4-inch Class I accessories such as a 2-bike rack or a cargo carrier. I have included links to both categories of Class I accessory such as the Curt # C18085, and the Curt hitch cargo carrier # C18110. I also linked a helpful article that will guide your selection if you do need one of these items.
