Hi, I have a 2003 F250 short bed with a BandW flip over ball, and wanted a fifth wheel adapter. Is the following product best suited for my application? And if so, does it simply install into the flip over ball hole? The B&W Companion Gooseneck-to-5th-Wheel Trailer Hitch Adapter # BWRVK3500 does just install into the Turnoverball gooseneck hitch in your 2003 Ford F-250. However, the problem is going to be clearance with your short bed truck. So the better option is the B&W Companion Slider # BWRVK3400 which installs the same way but is a sliding hitch to give you more turning clearance. The slider provides up to 12 inches of travel to help keep your fifth wheel trailer from coming into contact with your truck.
