Trailer Hitch Recommendation for 2013 Ford F-150 w Factory Hitch with Higher Capacities
Question:
I have a 2013 F150 with a factory hitch rated at 1050 lbs weight distribution. I would like to know if it is possible to replace this hitch with a higher rated hitch like the F250 that is rated at 1200 lbs weight distribution. Thanks.

We have one hitch that is a fit for your 2013 Ford F-150 with a factory hitch that meets your criteria. The Torklift hitch part # TLF1005H has a tongue weight capacity of 1,500 lbs when used with a weight distribution system and is a fit for the versions of your vehicle that have a factory hitch.
You will need to check either with Ford or your owners manual to determine if with an upgraded trailer hitch your truck has the needed capacity to take advantage of the capacity of the Torklift hitch.
