How to Determine if 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee has E-Group Roof For Picking Out Roof Rack
Question:
I have a 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit. I am looking for a roof rack. But the product filter wants me to if it is an E Group or non E Group. I have no idea what that means... It does have the side rails for the roof rack if that helps. WTH is this E Group? Thanks.

The E-Group rails are ones that have a chrome section that runs down the middle of the rail. The non-E-Group rails are totally black without a chrome section. I attached a picture that has the chrome section pictured.
If your roof has the E-Group rails you would need the part # RRRVP27 that you referenced as that is what this rack is designed to fit.
Otherwise you'd need the Yakima roof rack part numbers # Y00422, # Y28TR, and # Y06121.
