Comparing Curt Front Mount Hitches For 2016 GMC Sierra 4-Wheel Drive
Question:
What is the difference between hitch C31069 and C31012. Do either need the air dam cut? I have a 2016 GMC Sierra 1500 4 wheel drive.

Both of the Curt hitches are designed to fit your 2016 sierra 1500.
I checked the installation instructions for part # C31069 and part # C31012, and the instructions say to lift the hitch up into place to determine if the lower fascia needs to be trimmed. They are both listed with the same line pull of 9,000 lbs and have 2 inch receiver opening. Since they are both nearly identical in design I recommend going with the # C31069.
