Does Rackem Double Barrel Trailer Tailgate Assist, # RA-27C Use a Chain or Cable

Question:

The video shows the unit being chain driven on the inside with sprockets and the picture shows a cable driven unit. Which version is currently being sold. I currently have a cable driven assist by another brand and that is its downfall in durability. The cable only lasts so long. Thanks in advance!

I went out to the warehouse and pulled a Rackem Double Barrel Trailer Tailgate Assist, # RA-27C, to examine it. It does use a chain, like shown in the video linked below, and not a cable. I have also included a link to the installation details below.
