Is it Normal for Light on Display of Prodigy P2 to Stay on All the Time

Intalled Prodigy P2 in 2016 tacoma. Controller stays on two blue lights when truck is shut off and key removed? Is that normal?

There is not a power off feature, but after 20 or so minutes of inactivity, the P2 will go into a power saving or sleep mode, and the display will go dark. The power drain experienced during this time is miniscule and will not cause any problems whatsoever. Tekonsha recommends unplugging the unit at the rear of the controller if the vehicle will sit for more than a month or two without running.
