Firestone Suspension Enhancement Recommendation for 2008 Dodge Ram 1500 Towing Fifth Wheel
Question:
I have a 2008 Dodge ram mega cab...2wd. I like what i have read about the air system. Im curious as to whether this system can handle the weight of my 28 ft fifth wheel. I also need a compatible on board air compressor that will not over load my trucks electrical system.

Firestone air suspension kits like the part # F2299 will not give you the ability to increase the payload of your 2008 Dodge Ram 1500 but it will give you up to 5,000 lbs of additional suspension support to level your truck when you are towing your fifth wheel trailer.
This kit is also designed to fit with fifth wheel rail brackets so it would work well in that regard as well.
