Trailer Wiring Harness Options for a 2008 Volvo XC90
Question:
my Volvo tail lite plugs have 8 pins 2 rows of 4 pins not 2 rows of 3 pins. What do you suggest?

Expert Reply:
All of the trailer wiring harnesses for your 2008 Volvo XC90, see link, have connectors with 2 rows of 3 pins. It is possible that you are looking at different connectors on your Volvo than the ones where the harnesses plug in.
If your Volvo doesn't have the mating connectors required for these wiring harnesses you can use a universal harness. To avoid having to splice into the wiring I recommend # 119250KIT. I have linked a video review of this harness for you.
