Replacement Grease Seal for Older Trailer Using Seal 41360
Question:
im looking for a dust seal for an old trailer. hub number stamp 61 the dust seal presses into the back of the hub after you the inner bearing in. the seal is a tapered steel piece that had a rubber seal inside of a groove. i only need the rubber seal for each side the steel piece that holds the seal is stamped victor 41360. any idea of how to locate the right seal that fits this inner cap thanks for any help!

I was not able to find any grease seal to cross-reference with part 41360 but we can still help you identify grease seals with the correct dimensions. You will want to use a precision digital or dial caliper like # PTW80157 to measure the rear hub bore diameter and the spindle diameter where the seal rides.
If you refer to the linked diagram the point you'll need to measure to determine the correct inner diameter for a grease seal is noted as point B. This is where the seal's inner rubber surface will contact the spindle. The seal's outer diameter needs to match up to the hub bore diameter.
