How High Up from the Ground are the Roadmaster EZ5 Base Plates for a 2010 to 2016 Jeep Wrangler

Question:

Hello, can you tell me how high above the ground to the centerline of these base plates is? My motorhome has the Roadmaster spare tire carrier which s the receiver to 12inch above the ground and I am trying to find base plates which will accomodate that height. I have a Roadmaster Falcon All-Terrain tow bar as well. Thanks!

Base plates # RM-521448-5 will be approximately 13-1/2 inches up from the ground to the centerline of the base plates once installed. With your Falcon All-Terrain tow bar, # RM-522, the height difference between the RV connection point and the base plates can be off-level by up to 3 inches up or down. The height on the RV is measured from the ground to the center of the receiver.

Should you find that you are outside of that 3 inches (which it does not look like it will be a problem) then you can use a high/low adapter to get closer to level. I have included a link to our help article on high/low adapters as well as a link to the adapters should you need one in the future.
