Troubleshooting Brake Controller that Needs to be Reset Every Time its Used

every time I use my I have to reset the adjustments on my controller

Sounds like you aren't powering the Curt Triflex with a power source that stays hot all the time. If the power or ground is lost with the Curt Triflex part # C24VV all of the settings will be lost.
Make sure the black wire of the controller is running to the positive post of the battery to ensure this.
