Is the Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock HRLHPC2 Rated High Enough for a 8k Trailer

Question:

Is the Lock hitch receiver lock with 8cable strong enough for all-purpose use to pull my 30foot Sunnybrook travel trailer 7,000-8,000 LBS? as well as use with light duty like bike rack, etc? I would like the cable lock to secure my hitch when removed from the Silverado 2500HD in a campground and travelling. I lock the spring bars to the hitch safety chains now, and didnt worry about it until one morning another camper had their spring bars stolen over night. I like to take the hitch off the truck when I park for a while, and would like to lock that up too. Thanks!

Hitch pins like what comes with the part # HRLHPC2 do not have weight capacities as they don't actually bear any of the weight of a trailer so this hitch lock would work great on your trailer that weighs between 7,000 and 8,000 lbs.
