Recommendation For How To Lock Up Hitch Receiver And Cargo Carrier

Question:

I purchased a cables fold up cargo carrier. I want to purchase a lock as I will use carrier only on vacation. Being a fold up do I need two locks? One where carrier attaches to hitch and another where fold up portion attaches to the piece that the goes into the hitch?

I have a one lock security solution for you. I recommend the 2 Inch Hitch Receiver Lock with 8 Foot Cable, Item # HRLHPC2. This Master Lock will secure your trailer hitch receiver and cargo carrier with locking pin and clip. You can wrap the 8 foot long cable around the fold up pieces and items on the carrier for greater security (see picture).
