Which Circuits on a Trailer 7-Way are for the Turn Signals
Question:
Someone wired my van for a 7 way plug for a camper using wires only, no harness adapters. The problem is the right turn signal and both brake lights dont work on the camper but they work on the van. Behind the rear light housing on the van there are 5 or 6 wires going into each housing. How do I know which wire i need to connect the left turn and right turn wires to in order to have turn signals and brake lights on the trailer. The running lights seem to be working okay. Thank you for any help you can provide.

Check out the diagram attached that shows what each of the circuits on a 7-way are.
The right turn will be the pin in the 3:00 position and the left turn will be the 9:00 position.
It sounds like these circuits aren't making a solid connection.
