How to Pick Between Off-Set and Non-Offset Convert a Ball Fifth Wheel to Gooseneck Adapter
Question:
I have a 2014 Chev 2500 and I would like to know whether I need an offset hitch or straight up and down hitch, Im going to buy a fifth wheel camper and I dont know if it matters what kind of camper or what kind of hitch? Please email me at your convenience

If you have a long bed truck the non-offset part # CAB-C5G would work well as an adapter. If the truck is a short bed using the offset # CAB-C5GX1216 helps give you a bit more clearance since it has adds an offset of 7-1/2 inches.
If the truck bed is shorter than 6 feet neither adapter is going to work well since you would need more clearance. Unless the nose of the trailer happens to be very narrow.
