How to Keep Tow Bar Level for Flat Towing 2002 Mini Cooper with Class A Motor Home

Question:

I have a Mini Cooper 2002 and Id like to use it as a toad 4 down. My VR is a 27 foot Class A that has quite a bit of a hang over behind the rear wheels. Because of that, Im affraid that if I use a regular base plate on the mini, Id have to lower my hitch so much that it would grind on the asphalt when entering garage driveways for example. I have seen parts that are connected to the base plate and just under teh hood of the mini that raise the level and would prevent that. Would you be able to sell me this kind of part?

When a flat-towed vehicle is different in height from the RV pulling it you can use a high/low hitch adapter like # RM-076 to allow the tow bar to remain level when connected at the RV and toad. Tow bars should never be more than 3-inches under or over level.

The linked page displays all of the high/low adapters we offer which range in their drop dimension from 2- to 10-inches of drop.

For reference, all base plate fits for your 2002 Cooper are shown on the other link. And a helpful article on flat towing is linked too; this covers all of the required components for flat towing.
