What are the Wire Functions on Optronics LED RV Interior Light with Switch
Question:
I received this LED light. No instructions included. It comes with a black and white pigtail for connection to the DC power. But black and white are the colors used for AC. Black and red are used for DC. Is this light polarity sensitive? ie, Do I connectthe black or white wire to +12 Vdc, or does it not matter? Thanks

Allow me to be the first to tell you that there is no industry standard for trailer wire color and function which is frustrating to say the least since I have to deal with it on a daily basis. But the white wire is ground and the black is power on Optronics light # RVILL34. On a lot of lights they usually label the functions where the wires meet the housing but not on this light.
