Can a Weight Distribution System be used with a 2016 Grey Wolf Ice House to Reduce Vehicle Sag
Question:
I have a 1999 Ford F-150 with 5.4L V8 engine and 3:73 diff gearing. I a towing a 2016 Grey Wolf 16GR Ice House. The truck sags quite a lot with the trailer hooked up and I am wondering if a weight distribution hitch can even be used with this trailer since the trailer hitch is odd, or will I have to install something to help the suspension system? Thanks! Trailer Specs: Hitch weight 376 lbs UVW 3418 lbs. GVWR 5456 lbs.

Thanks for your picture, it really helped me answer your question. I would recommend you get a suspension enhancement system for your truck to help with the sag, because the 2016 Grey Wolf will not be able to use a weight distribution system due to its tongue design.
There are two types of suspension enhancements I would recommend for your 99 F-150. The first is the Timbren # TFR1525HD. This kit will fit either a 2wd or 4wd F-150 and provide the leveling and stabilization you are looking for with your Grey Wolf and F-150. The second option is the RAS active suspension kit # RAS4622 for 4wd models and # RAS4612 for 2wd models. This adjustable kit will give you an improved handling and ride quality while strengthening the rear leaf spring to keep your vehicle more level while towing. I would recommend the RAS kit over the Timbren simply because of the adjustability and ride quality increase.
I have linked all the above mentioned products to this page for your convenience.
