Will King Pin Height Remain The Same When Replacing 1621 Pin Box With Trailair Flex Air Pin Box
Question:
I want to replace my Lippert 1621HD 18,000 pin box with a Flex Air. Lippert says part number 328492. Is the king pin height between the two the same? I have an issue with trailer angles and dont want to have the flex air king pin lower than my existing one.

I called my contact at Lippert and asked about the Trailair Flex Air 5th Wheel Pin Box, part # LC328492.
My contact at Lippert said that if you match the same mounting bolt pattern you have on your existing 1621 pin box, the king pin height on the Flex Air will be at the same height so you will be good to go.
