Dimension of U-bolt Leg in Curt Replacement Safety-Chain U-Bolt Kit # C113

Question:

i have a 2002 ford f350 that has a gooseneck ball in it. The gooseneck setup is a wielded c-channel beam. Im looking to get safety chains for hauling. I am considering the Replacement Safety-Chain U-Bolt Kit for Curt Quick Goose 2 Gooseneck Hitch but cant find out how long the legs are for this product to see if they would be long enough for me to use with my setup. Can you help. Can you tell me how long the legs are and if you think it would work. .. or do you have another suggestion. thank you

I was able to go out to our warehouse and measure the Curt u-bolt that comes in kit # C113.

I have linked an image of the dimensions I got from the Curt 6 mm diameter u-bolts # C113 for your convenience.

Curt recommends a minimum of 3 full threads of the u-bolt to extend past the M16 x 1.25 center lock nut to support safety chains.

To determine if this will work for your custom setup or not, I would recommend on taking and comparing the measurements. If these don't fit your needs you can provide me with the dimension measurements your system has and I would be more than happy to help you find a solution.
