What is the Tongue Weight Compatibility of the Husky Center Line HT32218 Weight Distribution System
Question:
What is working tongue weight range for Husky HT32218 Center Line Weight Distribution

Expert Reply:
Weight distribution systems like the Husky Center Line # HT32218 work with trailers that have a specific loaded tongue weight (TW) range. The Husky's operating range is with trailer TW from 800-to 1200-lbs.
Your total effective TW is the sum of the trailer's actual loaded TW (which can be easily measured with a scale like # e99044) and the weight of anything in the tow vehicle that sits behind the rear axle, such as a tool box, loaded cooler or generator. This total effective TW should fall right into the middle of the system's operating range. In the case of the Husky # HT32218 an ideal total effective TW would be 1000-lbs.
This system's trailer frame lift brackets will mount on the frame approximately 29-inches rear of the hitch ball center. This system will fit trailer frames up to 2-inches wide and up to 8-inches tall. This Husky system comes with a 2-5/16-inch hitch ball.
