E-track is very versatile and comes in different lengths so you can choose what best fits your needs. If you plan on using the e-track to only tie-down your sport quads, it can work well to have the e-track in the middle of the trailer for a tie-down point. However, it you think you will use the e-track to transport other cargo and will need more tie-down options, using 2 rows of e-track will work better.

I spoke with one of my co-workers and he says he uses a single row of e-track to secure his ATV quad when he travels. He is able to secure ratchet straps to each side of the ATV frame to hold the quad in place.

If you primarily will be securing your sport quads to the trailer, I recommend using 3 sections of 4 foot Erickson Horizontal E-Track # EM19147 to secure your 2 sport quads. You can use one section at the front of the first quad, another section in the middle to secure the back and front of both quads, and the last section to secure the back of the second quad.

We offer several ratchet straps of different lengths and weight capacities compatible with the e-track system, like the Erickson E-Track Strap with Ratchet # EM59136. I have attached a link to all of the e-track straps we offer.

It is best to install the e-track in a location where it can be secured to a structural component of the trailer, such as the frame. If a backing plate is needed, # e96RR is a great option.

I have attached a review video of the Erikson Horizontal E-Track system for you.
