You will most likely need to adjust the hitch as low as it will go and the pin box on a 5th wheel trailer as high as it will go to be able to tow a 5th wheel trailer with your lifted 2007 Chevy Silverado 2500 with the large 315 tires on it. You may also have to raise the height at the rear of the trailer but we can cross the bridge if and when we come to it.
Please note that if the lift on the truck is a body lift you will not be able to install a 5th wheel hitch because the distance between the truck bed and frame will have increased. But if you have a suspension lift then the bed to frame distance will be the same and you can install a 5th wheel hitch.
For Chevy/GMC trucks 2007 was a split year. There are both Classic and New Body styles for 2007. The Classics look like the 2006 models and the New Body style will look like the 2008s. But there is an installation kit that will fit both; # RP50064-58 for short or long beds. I have included a link to a video showing an example installation for you.
The entry level 16K Reese hitch, # RP30047, will fit this installation kit. But if you have a short bed truck you will want the slider version, # RP30075.
