Which B & W Companion Hitch Can Be Used with a Sidewinder Pin Box

Hello, I have a 2015 Ram 2500 with the 64inch box. Im looking to use a Reese Sidewinder with the BandW Companion fixed 5th wheel hitch. In the description for the Sidewinder, it has an ominous dont use with BandW hitches warning. Can you please tell me why I cant do that?

The only B and W Companion hitches that can be used with Sidewinders are the ones that attach to the bed of the truck in 4 places like the ones for the Ram Rail Kit part # BWRVK3600. If the Companion only attaches to the gooseneck hitch then you can't use it with a Sidewinder since these Companions only utilize one attachment point in the center of the hitch which isn't adequate for the additional twisting torque on the hitch that the Sidewinder puts on the hitch.
Since you have the Factory Rail kit in your 2015 Ram you would want to use the # BWRVK3600 hitch that is designed to fit said rail kit and then you could use a Sidewinder.
The correct Sidewinder wedge would then be part # SWW-06 for this hitch.
