How to Determine if the SportRack Vista XL Cargo Box Will Fit a 2016 Mazda CX-5 Factory Roof Rack

Will rs7018 box fit on 2016 Mazda CX-5 with factory roof rack and cross bars, what is the distance from front mounting point to the back of the box I wonder if I will be able to open my tailgate with out touching the box. Thx

The SportRack Vista XL Cargo Box # SR7018 will fit a broad range of aftermarket and factory crossbars up to 4-inches in width, including many elliptical and aerodynamic shapes. If your 2016 Mazda CX-5 factory crossbars are 4-inches wide or less, and if the centers of the crossbars are positioned 25-7/8", 27-7/8", and 29-7/8" apart on center, then this cargo box will fit your factory rack.
This is a short box and if it does fit the factory roof rack on your CX-5 then there would not be any rear hatch interference. The measurements to determine that are not taken on the economy boxes like this.
