How to Pick Out Replacement Trailer Axle for Boat Trailer

Question:

I have a 2001 mfi single axle boat trailer. I believe it is a five lug. The spindle was scarred bad last year when a bearing went out. It did have Spurs on the spindle but I smoothed them out. Now Im having problems with grease seals leaking. What axle might you recommended for replacement?

We only have a few select few axles available currently, but to pick out an axle you will need to know the hub face to hub face dimension of your current one, the capacity of it, the distance between the spring seats on center, and the bolt pattern of the hubs that are currently on it.

With that info you can check out the link I attached that has all of the trailer axles we offer. Using the filters on the page you can narrow down the list. If you can't find one that will fit you will want to find a local trailer shop who can order you in custom axles. With all of the info you gathered they will be able to help you get what you need.
