12 Foot Long Wiring Harness to Go From RV to Towed Truck Using a Roadmaster Sterling Tow Bar

Question:

Hello, Im looking to wire up the lights on my RV to my truck. Im using a Roadmaster Sterling tow bar which provides for the wiring cable to be routed thru a channel on the tow bar along with the safety cable. So, Im looking for 12 gauge 7 or 6 conductor cable. This cable would need to be a 1/2 inch in diameter to be able to fit in the channel. The cable needs to be about 12 feet long and if possible have a 7 pin connector on one side. If connector is not available I can wire one in myself.. My goal is to keep the cable within the channel on the tow bar.....Could you please provide a solution to my problem?

I think I have something that will work for you. Take a look at 7-Way connector # 50-67-103, It is 15 feet long and uses a combination of 10, 12, and 14 gauge wire. The 12 volt circuit and ground wires are 10 gauge, what would be the brake output wire uses 12 gauge and the lights use 14. This is more than adequate for flat towing.
