Does Curt Fifth Wheel Rail Kit for 2016 GMC Sierra 2500 Thread Into Threaded Frame Holes
Question:
Hello, I just purchased a new 2016 GMC 2500HD. I noticed on the rear frame of the truck that there is 4 thread holes. Will your Curt bracket kit utilize these 4 thread holes? Looks like it will make it very easy to mount the bracket. Thank You Jason

The Curt fifth wheel rail kit part # C16411-204 that you referenced has been confirmed as a fit for your 2016 GMC Sierra 2500 with a short bed. But it does not install in the threaded frame holes you have on your truck.
Since this is a custom fit hitch it will not require drilling of the frame for installation, but the install holes used are not the threaded ones you have found. If you want to see how this hitch installs I attached a link to the install instructions plus an install video.
