Are Spacers Needed to Install Timbren Helper Springs on Front of a Lifted 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 4x4

Question:

Hi. I have a 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 4x4 with a 2 inch Daystar front leveling kit. I am looking to add the Timbren front SES part number TDF25004B kit to my truck because of the addition of a snow plow. Due to the front suspension of my truck being lifted 2 inches from factory ride height because of the leveling kit I am wondering if I would need to purchase the Timbren 1 inch spacers part number A25723-90AH00 in order to make the SES kit effective with my lifted truck. Im guessing I would need a total of 4 spacers 2 spacers per side to fill the gap due to my lifted suspension.

It depends on how your 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 4x4 was lifted. If it was a body lift then you would not need spacers. But on suspension lifts, which is what I believe you have, you would need spacers equal to the amount of the actual lift. So if the distance from the factory bump stop to the axle has increased 2 inches you would need 2 inches of spacers to install # TDF25004B.

The 1 inch Timbren spacers are # A25723-90AH00 and you would need 2 on each side if you do need 2 inches. Longer hardware will probably also be needed but is not supplied by Timbren.
