Should Chains be Used on All Four Wheels of an All Wheel Drive Vehicle
Question:
Can I get away with just putting the cables on the rear wheels of my vehicle? would putting them on all four wheels do better?

It's best to have snow chains on all four wheels of a vehicle to maximize traction for braking, accelerating, and turning. But if you install a set of chains on the main drive axle of a vehicle that can also work.
For an AWD vehicle like yours the best route is to put them on all four wheels. You would want to determine which axle is the main drive axle if you plan to go with only one set of chains. You will also want to check with the owners manual of your vehicle to see what Nissan recommends as well.
Since I do not know which tire size you have I attached a link to a page that has the tire sizes for your vehicle that we have for you to pick what you have.
I also attached a help article on tire chains for you to check out as well.
