When the looped end of the Bulldog Combo Axle/Ratcheting Tie-Down Strap, part # BDW20229 is around the axle of the vehicle, and the opposite end is attached to a D-ring on the hauler, the total length is right at 35 inches.
The distance from the D-ring latch to the ratchet is 14 inches and when the other end that goes around the axle is in its closest position that is right at 21 inches.
