ST175/80R13 Trailer Tire Recommendation that Is Rated Higher than 65 MPH

Question:

Hi, Im interested in these trailer tires for my 2000 Coleman Cheyenne pop up trailer. It only calls for load range c but I figure going to a load range d couldnt hurt. Anyways, Im concerned with the speed rating of 65 Mph. Highway speeds are 75 Mph. I sometimes go state to stare. Does this tire come with a higher speed rating or do you not think I would need it? Thank you for your reply,

The Kenda 175/80-13 size tire you asked about, part # AM10210, actually has a maximum speed rating of 81 mph.

Traditionally pretty much all trailer tires had a max rating of 65 mph but recently that's changing. Tire manufacturers have been testing and rating their tires for higher speeds so a lot fo tires that had only been rated up to 65 mph are increasing to a higher rating.
