Moly EP Grease Recommendation for Sway Bars  

Question:

My hitch instructions tell me to use a molybdinum based grease on th sway bar pivots but cant find it locally. Is this what they are talking about. Need . Some advertizers mention Moly but as an additive. Dont know what to use. Thanks for any info or help

The part # LM54FR that you referenced would work well for you.

This grease contains molybdenum disulfide (often refered to as "moly") for better performance than general-purpose grease when metal parts are under high loads or extreme pressure (hence the name "EP"). It's intended to be used on parts where sliding motions are encountered.

This grease is used to lubricate car chassis parts such as ball joints and U-joints, as well as farm equipment and industrial machinery.
