Troubleshooting Primus Brake Controller Flashing PL Code After Second Use

Brake controller flashing boost on continuesly, flashes pl when brake pedal is pushed and When brake slide is depressed, 4.0 is displayed when boost button is pushed any ideas what mightve happened Ive only towed w it twice and was working fine , also flashing when not connected to trailer

The PL error code on the Primus brake controller # TK90160 indicates that power is interrupted when stepping on the brake pedal.

Since this is a new controller I would check the wire connections as it sounds like maybe something didn't make a great connection and is now shorting out and causing the weird behavior you described.
