What size wire should be used to feed the power to the axle brakes on a tandom axle 28 ft trailer

We recommend 10 gauge wire for the brake output circuit on a trailer like part # 10-1-1 which is sold by the foot.

I also attached a picture that shows how tandem axle brake assemblies should get wired up.
