What Gauge Wire Should Be Used to Wire Up Trailer Brake Assemblies

Question:

What size wire do I need to run to each brake tandem axle then up to the seven pin connector. I see some use 12/2 and some use 10/2. I need to order enough for two 31foot Airstreams, dont want to order the wrong wire

If it were me I would go with 10 gauge wire. For that you would want part # 10-2-1. Some people use 12 gauge wire and have success, but honestly I would rather have to heavy of gauge wire than not heavy enough. So to be on the safe side I would go with the 10 gauge.

The 10-2-1 is sold by the foot, so you will need to order a quantity of how many feet you would need.
