Availability of Trunk Mounted Bike Rack for 2014 Ford Fusion

Will the Hollywood Racks HRE3 trunk bike rack fit my 2014 Ford Fusion? If not, can you recommend a trunk mounted, 3-bike rack? Thanks!

Your 2014 Fusion is one of the rare vehicles that isn't compatible with trunk mounted bike racks. According to Yakima, Hollywood Racks and Thule, when they conducted fit tests on your vehicle, they found that the trunk lid and bumper cover weren't strong enough to carry the combined weight of the bikes and the bike rack without being damaged.
The best alternative method for carrying bikes would be to install a trailer hitch and a hitch mounted bike rack. For a hitch, I'd recommend going with the Curt Class II hitch, part # C12091. The hitch warranty states that a stabilizing strap like # 18050 needs to be used for non-trailer loads like a bike rack.
For a moderately priced bike rack, you can't go wrong with the Swagman Trailhead, part # S63365. Despite its reasonable price, the Trailhead is a sturdy rack that's very highly rated by our customers. The rack includes an anti-rattle threaded hitch pin, but a locking hitch pin/cable lock is sold separately as part # S64031.
I've linked you to an install video for the hitch, plus product demonstration videos for the stabilizing strap and the bike rack I recommended. The bike rack video shows the 4 bike version, but the 3 bike version I recommended would work the same way.
