Reese Fifth Wheel Rail Kit Recommendation for a 2015 Ram 1500 Short Bed
Question:
Can you use RP58058 bed rails with the custom brackets # RP500083, but install them using the 4 bolt pattern, as if they where rails # 30095 or # 30124? It looks like the one hole on the bed rails on # RP58058 would line up. If not could you maybe drill a hole to fit? I would prefer just to drill 4 holes instead of 10 in the bed of my new truck. Would i need hardware kit RP50083F to mount the brackets #RP50083 and what part # hardware kit would i need to install the 4 bolt pattern.

The fifth wheel rail kit I can recommend for your 2015 Ram 1500 is the part # RP50142-58 that you referenced that is a 10 bolt rail kit.
Most manufacturers are going away from the 4 bolt rails and sticking with the 10 bolt rails since they feel the 10 bolt rails are more secure. With that being said, we do offer a 4 bolt kit, part # DM8552030-71 that has been confirmed as a fit for your vehicle.
