B&W Defender Gooseneck Trailer Coupler Extended and Retracted Height Dimensions
Question:
Can you please add the measurements of this unit fully retracted and fully extended, like all of the other brands have listed. I know it has 11inch of adjustment, but the overall lengths are lengths are needed to know how it will work for varying gooseneck tongue configurations. Thanks!

You are correct, I spoke to my contact at B and W and they informed me that the # BWGNC4251 that you referenced has a total of 11 inches of adjustment.
The inner tube measures 6.312 inches when retracted and 17.312 inches when fully extended. However we do not recommend towing with more than 12 inches of the trailer coupler exposed.The outer sleeve measures a total of 20 inches. Depending on where the outer sleeve is welded onto the trailer will determine the exact overall height.
