Recommendations for Securing a 900 Pound Harley-Davidson Motorcycle to a Trailer
Question:
I have a Voltage toy hauler and want to install some recess d ring tie downs in the floor. I cannot get to the bottom side of the floor due to insulation and a cover on the bottom of the garage. I will be hauling a 900lb Harley. Do you offer any type of anchors that I can fasten the d rings to the floor with from the top side?

Expert Reply:
There are probably some sort of fancy anchors that you could get from a hardware store but I have a better, more secure and safe option for you. You can install some E-track such as # E19148 using numerous fasteners which will better distribute the weight. Then you would just need some D-rings for the tie downs, # E59143, and straps to secure to the handle bars # 06303 (to avoid any scuffs to the chrome).
Then it is just a matter of using ratchet straps such as # EM05710 is you need some.
