Adding a 7-Way Trailer Connector and Brake Controller to a 1999 Toyota Tacoma
Question:
Hi I have a 99 toyota tacoma without a tow package and want to hook up to my travel trailer with a 7 blade plug. What parts do I need to buy and install to make this work. Thank you!!!

To install a 7-Way trailer connector on your 1999 Toyota Tacoma you will first need to install a 4-Way using # 118379. Next, you will need 4- and 7-Way installation kit # ETBC7. I have included some links that show and explain the ETBC7 installation.
For a brake controller to activate electric trailer brakes I recommend the P2 # 90885. It is one of our most popular controllers because of you well it works and its reliability.
