Comparing LED Flood Lights To Use On Back Of Horse Trailer

Question:

Would you recommend a single TLL46FB or two TLL60FB lights to be positioned as rear load lights for a dutch door/ ramp horse trailer? If I used the two light configuration, I would install them on separate switches, one for each load door. My main concern with the TLL60FB is the light dispersion pattern. I dont know if it is enough of a flood pattern for this application, but I think with two, it should work. Any thoughts? Thanks for your help,

The beam for the # TLL46FB is 10 ft wide at its widest point and the beam extends up to 130 ft. The optimal width is at about 65 ft. The beam is more narrow at around 5 feet wide at 30 ft. This may work well for you.

I called my contact at Optronics about part # TLL60FB. They told me that they have not tested the light dispersion for this light as was done on the TLL46FB. The # TLL60FB has 6 diodes so the amount of light would be reduced by 1/3 versus the TLL46FB which has 9 diodes so I would recommend two of the TLL46FB lights for your trailer.
