Hitch and 4 Bike Rack Recommendation for a 2014 Honda CR-V
Question:
What is the different between C13119 and 75742 hitch? I notice the 13119 has a Maximum tongue weight of 350 lbs and 75742 has Max Tongue weight of 525 lbs. Are both of them Draw-Tite? Besides the Tongue Weight different, what else different between them? If I buy the TH934XTR 4-Bike Rack, do I need Hitch Support Strap? stabilizing straps. I notice the Curt Hitch require stabilizing strapsinch to keep Warranty for Bike Carrier/Rack. Im planning to use this TH934XTR Bike Rack on my 2014 Honda CR-V I also have a 2015 Honda Odyssey. If I install a Curt Hitch on my Odyssey and install the TH934XTR Bike Rack, do I need to use the stabilizing strapsinch on my Odyssey? I notice my Odyssey top top of the trunk has a Plastic Mold. I dont know if that Plastic Mold will be strong enough to support the stabilizing straps Im planning to carry up to 4-Bicycles.

Only the Curt hitches require the use of a stabilizer strap like the # 18050 when carrying a bike rack, so because of that the Draw-Tite part # 75742 that you referenced would be your best option as it does not have the requirement and it is a fit for your 2014 Honda CR-V.
I attached an install video for you to check out.
This rack would work well with the Thule Hitching Post Pro part # TH934XTR. Check out the review video I attached that shows the rack demoed on a similar 2013 CR-V.
