The Thule Motion XT, part # TH629906, that you referenced will fit on the factory crossbars of your Mercedes Benz GLK350. However, this box is pretty long so to make sure it will not interfere with your rear hatch you will need a minimum of 52 inches from the point where the roof meets the hatch to the center of the front crossbar.
This is the measurement that Thule has provided to assure the Motion Xt Cargo Box does not interfere with the hatch on your vehicle.
