Brake Controller Install Kit for a 2000 Dodge Durango with 4-Way

Question:

I have a 2000 Dodge Durango 4X4. It did NOT come from the factory with a tow package. I have an electronic brake controller that I purchased from NAPA. Since my Durango did not come equipped from the factory with a tow package I need a universal adapter that will plug into the wires on the rear of the Hoppy unit and the rest will have to be hard wired in place. Can you help?

You will need to start with a 4-way (if you do not have one). For that you would want the # 118381.

From there you would need to convert the 4-way to a 7-way so that you can install the brake controller. For that you will want the Brake Controller Install Kit and 7-Way Adapter part # ETBC7. I attached installation instructions and an install video for this product as well.
