Should Loctite be Used when Install Trailer Suspension Parts
Question:
Hello, Could not find the answer. Anyways, when tightening the bolts for all suspension pieces, is it necessary/recommended to use lock tight? Personally, I would not think so, those nuts seems to be pretty hard to back out of the bolt, but I wanted to make sure first before the trailer takes its maiden voyage. Code: APT5

I would not use any Loctite when installing suspension components on a trailer since the suspension components need to be able to move relatively freely. I would be afraid of getting the thread locker on bolt or something away from the threads. If you were to use a thread locker then use the blue kind. The red is way too strong. The blue will allow nuts and bolts to be removed with hand tools. Maybe I'm just paranoid but for me, I wouldn't use it.
