Will the Brake Lights Over Load when a Brake System Applies Pressure to the Pedal
Question:
I will be installing an Even Brake System in my 2009 Honda, Fit. I was wondering if the brakes lights go on when the Even Brake System is activated. Since the brake pedal is depressed, It would seem to me that the brake light would go on. If this is the case would adding this part cause too much power to go to the brake light since it would be activated by the braking the motor home?

Yes, the brake lights will go on when the Even Brake is applied. The diodes in a typical tail light wiring kit, like part # RM-154, protects the system so that when the Even Brake is activated, it essentially over rides the signal coming from the RV.
Since you purchased RM-155, you should not have a problem. The signal from the RV is sent to the bulbs that came with RM-155. The signal that is sent when the Even Brake applies pressure to the pedal goes to the factory brake bulbs. So you should have essentially 2 bulbs in the tail light housing that will light up when brakes are applied.
